KTEL Makedonia is the most important traffic hub of Thessaloniki.
It brings together the operation of 44 KTEL buses with more than 830 daily routes. The destinations cover almost all of mainland Greece, while there are also routes abroad.
More than 30,000 passengers are served daily by the KTEL bus station, a number that more than doubles on weekends, exceeding 130,000. The total average monthly traffic of the station exceeds 1,100,000 people.
